What is it?: A discussion between Lyndeborough and Wilton teens, parents, interested adults and the Police forces. Discussions about what Wilton & Lyndeborough folks want to know from the Police, and conversely, what the Police need the townsfolk to be aware of.
Topics: could include (but are not limited to) who's who on the Forces, new faces, new programs, alerts and advice, the opioid (drug) crisis, crime prevention, personal safety precautions especially for women, automobile safety, current information the police need to disseminate, programs offered by local or regional commissions, assistance needed from the town, etc.
Speakers: Chief Erik Olesen (Wilton) and Chief Rance Deware (Lyndeborough)
Bring your questions and comments.There'll be a Q & A session after the discussion.

Random Bag Check Notice
The Wilton Recycling Center will be conducting random checks of trash bags to help raise recycling awareness and increase compliance.
Snow Removal Ordinance
A problem is developing in Lyndeborough with private plow trucks leaving snow on roadways and/or not pushing snow far enough off roadsides causing driving hazards, poor road conditions, and damaging Highway Department equipment.
Private snow plows are allowed to push snow from driveways across roads, however leaving snow in the roadway and/or not pushing the snow far enough off the road is a violation of the Snow Removal Ordinance (click here for details). The town is actively patrolling and anyone found guilty of a violation may be subject to a maximum $1,000.00 fine.
